Corny title for a blog post, no?
Last weekend, John raked and raked in our yard. This is the first house we've lived in that we didn't build from scratch, and we never lived in any house longer than 5 years, so we've never had this leaf problem that so many of you have. Well, no longer. We have at least 4 HUGE trees in our yard and John (because I don't do yard work) has to rake leaves almost year-round for the live oaks.
Anyhoo, David thought it might be fun to play in the leaves. Ummm, I think he had fun.
I love to get pictures of Katherine and David with them...such a treat.
Here's Katherine with Grandmother Walker.
And David with Grandmother.
Katherine discovered the sweet yumminess of strawberries! This girl got her mommy's sweet tooth. She will eat anything sweet...anything. She's got red all over her face from the strawberries.
A VERY rare picture of John and his mom. Ummm, you think the Ferguson's all look alike? Those genes, they are STRONG. I never had a chance.
We got this horse for David when he was about Katherine's age and he was scared of it for a week. Katherine - not so much. She loves it and can really ride a little scary for her mommy. We do have a video which I'm sure we'll actually post at some point. For now, enjoy a picture.

You are an amazing photographer--love the photo of Grandmother Walker and Katherine with the sun highlighting their hair--fabulous. And the one of David and Katherine on the horse--too cute.
We had so much fun last weekend--enjoyed every moment and promise to come back and try out the shiny new guest bedroom.
Have a blessed Easter Weekend--love to all,
Meme
Love the picture of the kids on the horse with Katherine hanging on to her big brother!
