Monkeys

Before I get to our little monkeys, here is a teaser.  Not only did we remodel our kitchen, but we completely re-did the landscaping in our whole front yard.  Yep, that's right, we are trying to single-handedly pull our country out of recession.  We'd appreciate it if the rest of you would join in.

John says he doesn't want to post "after" pictures of the yard until everything greens up some, but here's a tease...this picture was taken in our yard!!

Last week before the sudden drop in temperature (again), we spent some more time in the backyard and I got cute pictures of both the kids.

David is enjoying throwing and catching a frisbee these days.  He'll just play like that for a couple of minutes, but then he starts creating his complicated games and point systems and John and I just can't take it.  When we tell him to just throw and catch, he can't do it!  It's actually kind of funny.

So now to the monkeys...

We were inside for quite a bit of the day today since it was a bit on the chilly side.  Katherine and David both apparently need some climbing time.

Katherine has an obsession with chairs.  We don't know where this came from, but the girl loves to sit in chairs.  She gets so giddy - it's hysterical.  So we have these chairs in the toy room and they're just a tiny bit too high for her.  You can't tell her that though.

Yes, that's her jumping off the chair at the end.  She did land on her hands, but she was fine.  No baby girls were harmed in the making of this blog post.

David also was climbing today.
That's a table he's on top of.  Not sure why, but there you have it...our two little monkeys!

Hope you all had a great Saturday!

Can't wait to get my hands on the monkeys--this week!!
You and John are amazing with all the major PROJECTS--as if you didn't have enough going on with just the daily routine---what's next??
Anxious to see the changes first hand. Love to the Ferguson Four

Wow- gorgeous flower! That's a good flowerbed teaser. Looks like Katherine can climb pretty fast too! The chair sequence was too cute. That's a very good picture of David, too!

Hey girlfriend. Stayed in for lunch today and had a chance to catch up on your bloggy-blog. Wow, you've been workin at it.

You camera is so choice. The pink flower is as gorgeous as your monkeys.

P.S. I wouldn't do a think to Katy Beth's hair. It's too sweet a-naturale.

P.S.S. I loved the pic of John and KE with the black and white back ground and her arms up. How did you do that?

Miss you already.
