Image Editing

I found a new trick on a website I was directed to by my sister.

Here is the picture as I got it off my camera.  It was taken in our backyard in the early evening.  The sun was still pretty high in the sky, but I was facing almost in to it, so that's why the picture came out a little dark.  I did not use a flash.

I lightened the picture up, and then made her eyes POP as the article suggested.  I think it turned out really neat looking!  It's not really the TRUE color of her eyes, but they do POP!
Speaking of my little girl - she's started some "ma ma ma ma ma ma" babbling!!  Of course, Mommy just loves this like crazy!!!  I think I sound crazy saying this, but I think she just *might* know what she's saying!  She may not know that "ma ma ma ma" sounds like Mommy and that I'm her Mommy, but at the very least I think she knows that I say "ma ma ma ma ma" to her all the time & she's starting to repeat it.

Her other favorite sound is "ba ba ba ba ba."  She's quite the talker.  She's not saying "da da da da da" yet, but I'm sure that will start soon.  David still thinks her first words were "bye bye!"  I'm not so sure we're there yet.
