Our Saturday

Does this look like a girl with a double ear infection?
Yeah, not to us either.  She woke up on Saturday morning with a very low fever on one thermometer, no fever on another, but she wasn't acting like herself and the nose issues have gone on for almost 2 weeks, so we took her in to see the doctor.  Yep, 2 ear infections.  Poor baby, but I guess that explains why she kept us up quite a bit on Thursday night and really had a fit in the middle of the night Friday night.  Well, the ears and THIS:
You can barely see it, but there is one tiny little tooth poking through!  If you click on the picture and look at it really big, you can see it poking through.  Our baby girl has her first tooth.

In David news, after a whole week at school earning a sticker for good behavior every day, he's earned back his Wii.  He was thrilled, and asked to play first thing out of bed.
He also had a soccer game today.  After his breakout 3 goals last week, we were hoping he was turning a corner.

Doesn't he look so big?
This picture was actually taken during the game.  I just thought it was funny that each team was standing like this.  They really don't play like this, I just took the picture at the right time.
And again this week, David scored a GOAL!!!!  Here's his cheesy grin right after he scored.  He was so proud...as were his Mommy & Daddy!
I just thought this was a funny action shot.  That tongue helps him run faster you know.
Some sideline activity.
At the end of the game, David's coach gives one player an extra snack ticket for being the player of the game.  David lobbied for this ticket the WHOLE game - asking Coach for a status several times, "Am I still in the running Coach?"  Turns out Coach did give him the ticket today!
And the tongue goes out again.
He was so happy.  He would want me to tell you that he got a fruit snack and Skittles with his tickets.  He always loves to tell us what he picked.

Poor baby!! Double ear infections!! And teething - it amazes me the pain tolerance babies have.

And way to go David! You are becoming quite the soccer star!

And that tip on the pictures is cool - I will have to play with it on some of Karsyn's pictures.

Poor Katherine. When Audrey starts waking up in the middle of the night we know she probably has an ear infection. Love the tongue pictures. David does look so big in his soccer uniform. I have to question the lack of something chocolate especially with TWO snack tickets though ;-)
