Our girl has discovered her feet! She loves to hold them, put them in her mouth, or generally just show off how incredibly limber she is. She's rolling over both ways and seems to be right on target for 6 months. Now I'm ready to call the doctor for that check-up.

Couldn't resist this adorable picture of my boy. Doesn't he just look so big?!?! I still can't believe he starts kindergarten this year. Where does the time go?!?!

Here's Katherine showing off how strong she is. She likes to straighten those arms all the way out when she's on her belly. Doncha just love those arm rolls?!?!?

Here's some happy tummy time. This is foreign to the Fergusons, so we're enjoying it immensely with Katherine.

Another adorable picture of my boy. I mean, should I just be enrolling him in college, or what? He looks so old in this picture!

This is how we spent lots of time Sunday afternoon since it was about 347 degrees outside.

However, on Sunday evening, we did play outside. We have a huge tree in our backyard that provides great shade in the evening. It actually wasn't bad out there at all! We were all outside for about an hour. David stopped playing because he was FREEZING! We had to get him inside to a warm shower just to get him back to normal temperature. That boy needs some MEAT on his bones!

Cuties:

David explaining to Mommy & Daddy one of the 167 rules to his 14th game of how far he can slide into the pool at the end of the slip-n-slide.

Self-portrait of Mommy & Katherine watching David play.

Action shot. I believe this run was worth 20 points - 10 for getting 2 of the sliding aids into the pool at the end and 10 points for getting his head far enough to touch the back of the pool. These are complicated games people! If one of the sliding aids had flown all the way out of the pool, I believe that would have been another 20 points, but I'm not completely sure.

The splash pool at the end is SO fun!

That's our Sunday in a nutshell. I was outside for about an hour around noon at church. Wow - it was HOT! But - 18 people (I think) were baptized so it was WAY worth it to be in the heat. See, I use my camera for GOD's WORK, so it's totally okay that we spent so much money on it, right?!?!

I love the feetsies stage! Ahh - they'll be her bestest buddies AND handy for a snack too. haha! The pics of David are great. Nice action shots too!
Love the pictures of David on the slip and slide and Katherine on the blanket nearby watching big brother. They're great entertainment aren't they? A good NICU nurse is worth her weight in gold. I bet it was fun to see them again now that you're both so healthy and happy.
Those are rolls are the best! David's games with the slip and slide are hilarious. That was always one of our very favorite things to do in the summer when we were growing up. Can't beat it! So glad y'all had a great weekend!
David looks like he is having fun! Wait until he starts explaining the rules to his sister - then they will really keep changing to make him the winner (until she finally gets the skills to figure it out). Both kids are so CUTE!!
