I've decided that my girl is ready for some food. Well, if you can call over squished green beans in a rectangle plastic container food. Anyway, she's been eating oatmeal every morning for a while now, and she does quite well. In fact, I stayed for a few minutes with her at day-care this morning and watched her eat. She does MUCH better for her teacher than she does for her mommy. I'm thinking about being offended.
Anyway.
We tried green beans first and we did it in the evening. My girl, she's not the happiest in the evening so maybe the evening wasn't the BEST idea I've ever had. But really, I can't make her eat green beans for BREAKFAST, can I? We'll have to figure all this out as we go along I suppose.
Here she is, happy in this unfamiliar chair...hmmm mommy, what are we doing here?!?!
Sorry for the quality of this picture. Daddy & David were VERY busy with the Wii, so the camera was sitting on the table to capture the momentous occasion.
Yeah, she's actually gagging in that last one.
Maybe we'll try again tomorrow!
In other news with the Ferguson Four, David has developed a bit of a tummy ache. It started on Saturday evening after the birthday party and it's hurt him off and on since then. At first, we thought it must be his reflux somehow acting up or getting worse. Then we (self) diagnosed gas, then acid, then constipation. We even took him to the doctor on Monday, but the doctor didn't seem very worried. We wondered if he might be making it up for attention, if he's jealous of the attention his sister gets, if he's flat out just faking it. Nothing really seemed to fit. It comes and goes, sometimes he'll really complain and cry, sometimes he just mentions it and goes on to another activity. As of yesterday, we'd decided it was probably that he's nervous about going to a new day-care next week and leaving his friends. It makes sense - mommy has a bit of a nervous tummy, so maybe so. We called the doctor back today and he wants some blood work and a sonogram, so we're scheduling that over the next couple of days. We'll keep you posted - say a prayer for our little guy if you would!!

First time with green beans - wow!! She doesn't look too crazy about them. ;-) Better luck next time! We'll keep David in our prayers. Keep us posted on what the doc says!
I'd pick oatmeal over green beans myself but I'm sure she'll love the greenie beanies in no time. I've been praying for David. Being nervous about the new school makes sense. I know you'll keep us updated.
So, are you having a tummy ache over new iPhone anxiety?
(will pray for david, too)
My sister use to feed her little boy vegetables for breakfast. Karsyn would get pancakes with syrup and Kegan would get green beans and peas. Karsyn might not be as healty as Kegan, but I'm the favorite Mom in the room! ha ha!
