I've been at an SEC reporting conference for the last two days. Yes, two FULL days of nothing but training on new GAAP, proposed GAAP, theories of GAAP, SEC regulations, future filing requirements, IFRS, XBRL, and that's just to hit the REALLY fun stuff! I know, you are all SO jealous that you weren't there with me, right?
Yesterday went a little bit late, so I didn't have time to post this adorable picture of my girl with her hand wrapped around my pinky while she was eating. Isn't she just the sweetest!?!

John ordered a (better) slip-n-slide off the internet for David. We'd bought one for him that lasted the first time we got it out. It is now useless. This one works better, but it has a maximum weight capacity of 120 pounds. John made some MAJOR points by telling David in front of me that Mommy could get on it with him. Yeah, in my DREAMS! Anyway, David loves it. It slides better and the aired up mattress is less harsh on him when he does a belly flop on to it. Don't ask me why he can't jump on these things right, but he just can't.

He probably did it no less than 100 times. In true David form, he gave himself points for how far he slid on the mat. All the way to the end was 20 points. His head bumping the back was 30 points. If his head went over the blue ridge, then that was worth an astounding 50 points. Good times.

After all the excitement in my world for the last 2 days, I can hardly keep my eyes open. I forsee SEC enforcment division nightmares with lawyers and accountants screaming at me about SFAS 157 and 141 (R). Yep, a great time was had by all. Seriously, you guys need to contain yourselves. It's just a class, you can sign up and go next year.

Aww- the pinky hold is so sweet. That looks like an awesome slip and slide. I'm glad it is getting a lot of use!!
Great slip and slide pictures. It looks like a blast. The little thing to jump on to is a wondeful addition to the classic version. I bought one on clearance last year and Jason just got it out of the shed last night so we'll see if Cole likes it as much as David does. Ours has 3 lanes so you can race. Maybe Cole will challenge David to a slip and slide race someday ;-)
What's really sad is I understand what you are talking about! A fellow financial reporting person here. Love the picture.
Love the new blog design! Very cute!
Just in case you were wondering...you are a nerd, Cindy. I think that's why I love you so much.
The black and white of Katherine just might be my favorite pic yet.
The slip and slide looks fantasatic! Do they make those for adults?
...and your new template is too cool.
I'm off to try to force feed my hoof and mouth child.

I love reading about your darling family. David is so entertaining and what a precious picture of that baby girl! It was great to see you yesterday...and share blog info :) I'm definitely not jealous that you went to the training class without me!
OK--I'm duly admonished!! No comments don't mean I am not logging on once or twice a day to get the latest on the Ferguson Four--your posts are the highlight of my day! Enjoy the weekend and take lots of pictures for next week's news.
