4 Months!

Memorial Day weekend...

Here's Katherine's FOUR MONTH pictures!!! She's getting so big so fast of course.

David felt the need to get in on all the fun. I just love how Katherine is looking up at him. Like, "Hey Buster, this is MY picture!!" You think the sibling rivalry has already started?!?! Her four month picture with the bear.
Again, David wanted HIS picture with HIS teddy bear (creatively named "Teddy Bear"). Our kid is smart, we never claimed he's the most creative person in the world.
And here's the video of the bunny pictures. I actually like the teddy bear pictures better than the bunny ones, so I've asked the video pro in our house to create a new video with those pictures. I'm sure he'll get RIGHT on that.


So these days Katherine is more and more alert. She's finally starting to use her hands more. I think (like her big brother) she is probably ABLE to do more than she does, but she's just not motivated. David *could* roll over, but chose not to. I think she might be the same way. Why pick up my toys when everyone else will do it for me?!?! She's also finally smiling more - but still not the social butterfly. She won't really smile at strangers, but she'll give me huge open mouth toothless grins in the morning when I'm changing her. She LOVES to watch her daddy and brother and will often give them the huge smiles too. A stranger would smile big and talk to her several times this weekend and she'd just look at them - straight faced. Clearly they were not deemed worthy of a smile from her highness. Her spit up is also getting a little bit worse, sadly. Her doctor changed her medicine last week, so we're getting used to that too. We'll see if she improves...or I might be begging for a chiropractor referral at her 4 month check-up!
