The Ferguson Four had a great evening! I picked the kids up from school while John did some work in the yard. When we got home, David went outside and played while John worked. They had a great time out there and we even found Fred, the pet turtle! We fed him some snails, but we didn't see him eat any.
While they were outside, my good friend brought over SIX (!!!) bows and a bow holder that she had made for Katherine. They are all custom made to go exactly with outfits of hers. They are adorable! Katherine and I spent some quality time together. She's still smiling at me sometimes, but she's pretty stingy with those smiles. Then we made dinner and the boys came in to eat.
David had great manners at the table and actually ate in a decent amount of time. He had to do a breathing treatment after dinner and went right in to do it with no complaints. When it was over, he went straight to his bath without complaining.
Here comes the David-ism! I told David that he's just getting SO SO SO big! He's really starting to look like a school-age boy! Anyway, I told him, "It almost makes your mommy cry!" He said, "It's okay mommy, I'm still going to live with you when I'm a grown up!"
Ummm....okay?!?
We all had cookies for dessert together (well, Katherine just had some formula).
It was a great night full of wonderful family bonding.
So there you go family members who keep calling to make sure we're okay and then gripe at me for not posting! Not that I'm mentioning any names (GARY, MEME!!)
Love to you all!

As one of your devoted readers...probably one of the last to join the fun...I am glad for a regular post this week. Since you have chosen to share your personal life with us through your blog, we now feel ENTITLED to regular updates about the Ferguson Four. Glad you had a great family evening. If you hadn't shared, we might wonder if all is well or not. Can't wait to see a picture of Katherine in one of her new bows.
Fred will never eat the snails in front of you---it is turtle etiquette!! Don't complain, we have not even seen turtles in West Texas yet--so be patient with Fred!
Seriously, we cannot help it if we are addicted to your blogging--you have spoiled us to expect a frequent updates. I am preparing a special training for our real estate agents on blogging after your example---frequent posts, pictures are attention grabbers, proper grammar is essential. You set a high standard.
