Two David-isms in ONE Night!

This is the story of the case of the missing Crescent Roll. David LOVES crescent rolls which is quite odd considering that he won't eat any other kind of bread. Last night we had the succulent rolls with dinner. David was thrilled. He got the first one.

Here he is eating his chicken in an attempt to appease his parents enough to let him eat the roll. What I don't have a picture of is David chowing on the FIRST crescent roll he got. The one pictured here is the second one.

Suddenly, he started looking around - seeming a bit stressed out.

Mommy: What are you looking for David?

David: My crescent roll. Where did it go?

Mommy: You ate it David.

David: No, I didn't!!

Mommy: Yes, you did David. We sat here and watched you! You ate it.

David: No I didn't Mommy!

We had a good laugh over that one. He was totally convinced he had NOT eaten that roll! He truly thought one of us took it or it fell on the floor. We played a trick on him a few minutes later and took his 2nd one off his plate. He realized it was gone almost instantly and the look on his face was priceless!

Little did we know, there was another David-ism on the way in the SAME NIGHT!!

John and David sat down to play with his DS. We switched it up and played Super Mario Bros instead of Mario Kart (I know, we like to live on the edge).

David was watching John play and got to the SECOND WORLD! So exciting.

Then, it turned ugly. Apparently, there was something in World 2-1 that David did NOT like:

He got very stressed out all of the sudden. He was completely freaking out.

We tried so hard to calm him down, but he kept insisting that he did "NOT LIKE THAT LEVEL!!" He said it over and over. I think he was also worried that John wasn't going to make it through that level. And he only had FIVE MEN!! FIVE MEN MOMMY, THAT'S NOT ENOUGH!!

Katherine took the whole evening in stride:
