Tomorrow will be my first day back at work from maternity leave. Anyone who knows me knows that I'm a very happy working mother. I admire women who choose to stay at home with their kids, but it's just not something I'm wired for. Sometimes I wish I were, but I'm not. I've loved being home these last 8 weeks with Katherine, but I'm ready to go back to work. I don't know how I'll make it through a whole day without her though!! I'm going to miss her terribly. We'll see how long I can make it.
She's having her final RSV shot in the morning. John is taking her to get the shot, and then to school. I took her there last week to meet her teachers and see the room. The teachers were wonderful and the room was so much fun. The other babies were very happy and well cared for. I know Katherine is in great hands and that is HUGE!!
So, since I really need to get ready for my first week back, I don't have much time, but I thought I'd share some stuff from our Easter weekend.
On Friday, we introduced Katherine to Baby Einstein. We think she likes it!

On Saturday, we took David to a super fun Easter egg hunt the city puts on. He had a great time and will tell anyone who will listen that he got 67 eggs. He didn't really get 67 eggs though, he got 12 eggs with a total of 67 pieces of candy.
Here's the wait for the hunt to begin:

And here is the chaos that ensued. This picture doesn't do it justice - it was CRAZY!! But it was really fun.

And what's Easter without a beautiful girl in a brand new Easter dress?!?! She's the most beautiful girl in the world...not that I'm biased!

And here is the family Easter picture outside our house. We just planted the flowers this weekend!

Also, in the midst of all this, my girl is TWO MONTHS old! I can't even believe it, but it's true. She's incredibly fun to be around. Her reflux is doing much better. Not only is she on medication for it, but I think we've also found a good formula solution. She's on Enfamil Gentlease. It's not the most common formula, and it doesn't even come in ready-to-feed, but it seems to work well with her so we'll make it work. To be clear, I don't actually USE ready-to-feed, but I have to have it on hand at her day-care for emergencies.
Here is her 2 month picuture with the teddy bear.

And here is a video of the last two months with the bunny picture. I'll try to do this for the next year like I did my pregnancy pictures. She's already grown SO MUCH!!!
If I can pry Katherine from my arms tomorrow night, I'll post to let everyone know how my first day back went (I'm sure you're all on pins & needles). However, I'm not optimistic that I'll be able to put her down!

What a fun Easter weekend! And wow!!! - Miss Katherine looks so beautiful in her Easter attire. She dresses better than her aunt for sure! May the Lord bless you and keep you as you begin your new routine. I know the Lord has good plans for each of you and will make His face shine upon you. I pray your first day back to work is a good day for both you and Katherine. With much love and prayer - Amie.

I'll be thinking about you on your first day back. It's so hard, I know! She'll be so happy to see you this afternoon.
I've thought about you a few times this weekend and this morning. I hope it goes well for both of you. All the Easter pictures are great.
I had to come back and look at the flowers and they do look beautiful. Great job guys!
