More Room Stuff

My friend Laurie created a monster.  She got me to paint David's letters in his room.  Now this.

I want a cute ceiling fan/light for Katherine's room.  We were at Lowe's yesterday and I saw a really cute pink one, so I got it.  We got home and realized that it is BRIGHT pink - not pastel pink like her room.  Of course, that will NOT do.

So I started looking on the internet.  What did I find but HAND PAINTED fans!!  Yep, get a plain white ceiling fan and PAINT the blades!  Am I the only one who doesn't know about this?

I think I'm gonna do it.

I'll obviously use a paler pink, no dark pink and probably either no yellow, or something much more subdued.

Before you answer that - at Chick-Fil-A yesterday, I saw a girl with a VERY cute diaper bag.  John thought I was a dork, but I went and asked her where she got it.  Of course, her reply, "Ebay."  Silly me, EVERYTHING like that comes off ebay, right?  Anyway, she couldn't remember the seller's name, so I sent her an email from my iPhone so she'd have my email address, and she emailed me back with the girl's name.  I found her on ebay and we've been emailing all day.  I think I'm going to get this bag:

I KNOW!!  Isn't it ADORABLE!!  Plus, inside, it's very well organized, and it comes with a nice changing pad too.  It will be embroidered with Katherine's name in pink thread.  I can't wait to get it.

You think John will carry it?  Yeah, I know, probably not, but I will!
