Santa Claus!!

Saturday was quite a shopping day!  David was a trooper though.  Does anyone else just seem to get MORE impatient during the holiday season other than me?  I'm not the most patient person anyway, but when stores are crowded, people aren't paying attention, and carts seem to do nothing but get in the way, I'm just ready to go HOME!

Anyway, we went to Hobby Lobby, Lowe's, Target, GardenRidge, Dillards and JCPenney all before we ate lunch.  What a day!

While we were at the mall - I hadn't even thought about Santa Claus pictures yet, but there he was.  And guess what?!?!  The line wasn't too bad!  I was amazed.  It's a Saturday morning, around 10:30 and the wait is probably only about 20 minutes to see Santa.  John wanted to see some department store outdoor lighting decorations, so he shopped while David and I stood in line.  We all got done at the exact same time and we got this adorable picture of David with Santa.

He told Santa what he wanted - a Sorry game, Mousetrap game and Hi Ho Cherry O game (yes, the boy, he likes his games) and he gave Santa a big hug when it was time to leave.  This was a MUCH better experience than last year when he wouldn't sit on Santa's lap - even for a trip to Chuck E Cheese!  Four is so fun!!
