The moving company arrives tomorrow morning. For a Type A, high strung, control freak, my house is very unorganized. It's not necessarily "unorganized" per se, but people that know me would probably think I would be more ready than I am. I'm sure they can find something to pack, I'm just not sure what it will be! My goal was to have everything in the house in one of four stacks denoting where it goes. We didn't quite make it to that, but we do have about 70% of the house categorized. I'm calling that a win. And a very long weekend.
We will move into a local hotel on Friday evening. Since they're packing us this week and they said it would take five days, they're planning to load our household goods (HHGs) on Friday. I didn't think about this until about a week ago, but when they load everything, we will no longer have beds! Oops! I guess we better get a place to stay for 6 nights! So we're staying in a hotel close by our house. K will still go to her normal day-care for a few more days. D is home with me for the week.
Both of the kids are soaking up all the time with their friends that they possibly can. Thank goodness for understanding parents that know our schedule is crazy right now and are accommodating enough to not only have my kids over, but handle logistics for my overloaded brain! The kids appreciate you as much as I do!
