Today was Katherine's very first dance recital!! It was quite an experience for the first-time girl mommy. Personally, I never took dance, so this was all new for me. It was a great time - Katherine's BFF was in the recital with her and I think the two of them together made it much easier for both of them. They did such a wonderful job!
For the commentary, the first dance is the ballet. Note at the end of that dance that Katherine is *pulling* her BFF toward the bow they're supposed to make. For the record, they were supposed to bow last. She was trying to pull Katherine to the end of the line, but I guess Katherine wanted to get outta there!
The second dance is a tap dance. Katherine and her BFF are the youngest in the class, and we're pretty sure the youngest two at the recital. They were adorable of course!!

the bow was SOOOOOO cute...my favorite part for sure. and i can see how the practice in the living room makes sense on the tapping now. ;-)
