The Money Pit

The Husband here, too lazy to log Cindy out and me in. 

Don't let the title fool you, we love our house. It has taken a lot of time and effort to get the kitchen just how we want it. It took a year of planning, a lost deposit to a kitchen remodeling company that was going to take way too much money, a Directbuy membership that was later refunded, and finally a lasting experience at being a general contractor. I only paid two companies for the various work, the problem was that each of those guys had several sub-contractors each, and they did not manage them well. That is the short version of the story, remind me to tell you the juicy details when we have a couple of hours to chat.

You might have noticed that lately I have produced two videos of basically the same thing each time. I am not sure why other than I get a couple of ideas that I like and just go with it. Tonight for your viewing pleasure we have a before and after video contrasting the pictures we took while considering the purchase of this house two years ago immediately followed by the finished product.  The second video is more of a progression of the progress over the past two years including construction photos.
