So sorry.
Good news - I got a promotion. Bad news - I'm working a lot right now while transitioning. It's all fun, but it will take some time for things to get back to "normal".
No excuse, I know, but that's really the reason I haven't posted.
So, in the last 16 days, Katherine has started saying "uh oh!" which is quite adorable. The little stinker won't say it if the video camera is in the room though. I'm not sure we'll ever get that cute little baby girl voice! She's also standing up, and actually took a very small step tonight! I'm looking forward to watching her walk, but wow, this girl is in to EVERYTHING while she's crawling. Walking is going to be an adventure.
David is doing great as usual. He's showing Mommy and Daddy some attitude these days. I'm sure it's a kindergarten phase which he'll hopefully grow out of. It's hard when you're stuck between doing some things for yourself and not being ready to do other things. He's having some growing pains I'm afraid. He's doing great in school and still as passionate as ever about pretty much anything electronic. Hmmm, wonder where that came from...
I'll leave you with a couple of pictures. We got some Christmas decorations and the kids thought they were cute for about a second, then they played in the box.
And Katherine's OH SO FAVORITE GAME IN THE WIDE WORLD is Peek-a-boo. She'll play forever. She'll laugh hysterically every time. Well, she laughs harder at her brother than anything, but she will laugh for peek-a-boo. Even with Mommy.
TEASER: Also during these 16 days, we've been remodeling our kitchen! Stay tuned for the big reveal!!!

You're back! Yay! Gosh - has it been 16 days? Peek-a-boo is one rocking game. It still cracks Lily up. Great pics! The standing pictures are too precious.

I have been missing your blogging, but I know you are SO busy. Loved seeing and talking to you earlier this week. Thanks for being a great friend! Isn't it amazing how kids love the boxes that toys come in vs. the toys? Oh, the irony!!!
Katherine looks so old in that last picture. I guess it's the standing, teeth and wisps of hair framing her face!
