BAD BLOGGER!! I'm a bad blogger, I know. I don't know what to say. We have a couple of things going on these days and I'm too busy juggling to blog about it. I'll try to hit some of the highlights.
John's audio/visual habit has once again, been fed. We need to get him some help. The first step on the road to recovery is admitting you have a problem.
Anyway, here she is playing with Daddy. We did manage to get a small smile out of her.
David was all smiles as usual. This was Tuesday evening after soccer practice.
David is making improvements at soccer, so we're pleased for that.
I won't go into it here, but David has had a tough first few weeks of Kindergarten. We do think it's the same story as what we dealt with when he was in 3-year-old preschool. He's academically not at all challenged and he's a very young 5-year-old, and he's a boy. He's ALL boy. Suffice it to say that Mommy & Daddy have already had TWO parent conferences. I don't think my mother had a parent conference my entire educational career. I'm in uncharted territory. We're on the road to a better month in October - we're all thinking positive and making small changes to help his behavior and his attitude. We're blessed with a great teacher and a supportive school and district.
Tonight, he told me during dinner that he wanted to count to 100 by 2's. I told him to wait until after dinner and I'd "let" him write it down. He thought that was a great idea! Here he is hard at work. Notice the tongue!
While he was doing that, Katherine was learning something of her own! She can't pull herself up, but if we place her upright, she can hold on to her table toy. She loves to beat on the table and make the music start. She'll just laugh and laugh when it comes on!
Here is David's handy work from tonight:
I made him sign & date it so I can save it for him.
Sorry to be short, but this is all I have for now. Also apologize for taking so long to post. Thank you so much for checking back in with us!!!

We can't help it if we are addicted to your blog--you have spoiled us with your fun family news. Great pics of the kids, and it is good to hear that David is settling into his school routine. I need a Katie Beth hug really soon--Meme
awesome idea...sign and date it...the smithsonian will love that.
will be thinking of you today. ;-)
Super cute pictures (as usual). She looks so happy and proud to sit up and play w/her toy. The tongue-concentration picture is greatness. He's really concentrating!
I think she's looking more like you as she gets older. Lucky girl! It's a proven fact that sticking your tongue out helps you do a better job. The new tv setup looks great.
