Tummies are for Sleeping and That's Just What They'll Do

Look what I found when I went in to her room to get Katherine this morning!

When I put her down last night, that rolled up white blanket was in an arch, underneath her legs.  One side of her crib is elevated, so the rolled up blanket helps to keep her from sliding down to the bottom side of the bed.  It also will keep her on her back all night long since it makes it pretty difficult to roll over.

That is, until last night!  Apparently, she kicked the blanket to the bottom and rolled on over.  She had to have done this in the middle of the night since I checked on her shortly after 10pm and she was still safely on her back.  My girl is growing up!

Also, yesterday evening, she ate a WHOLE JAR of squish!  She loves the stuff.  Tonight, she ate almost the whole jar, but left a little bit when her temper got the best of her.

David had a great water park day at school today.  He loves those days.  One of his teachers told me that in science today, he raised his hand for every single question.  She was asking the kids to tell her something about each planet one by one and David knew at least one fact about each and every planet.  He also knows all the planets and doesn't even have to use the "My-very-educated-mother-just-served-us-nine-pizzas" thing.  Smarty pants.

Have a great Thursday!!

She's a cute little tummy sleeper, that's for sure. The "squish" cracks me up. Yeah for David and his Planetary smart-ness!!
