Vanessa

This week, our church lost a leader. She was a beautiful person, inside and out. She was an incredible singer, speaker and motivator. She leaves behind a legacy. I've read so many comments where someone says they met her once and she left an impression.

I only spoke to her maybe twice - at events at church. I was actually star-struck! John has always said she has the best voice in the church. When she was singing at a service, he would always be that much more excited for it to start.

Obviously, it's sad when people leave us (what we think is) too young. We remember her, celebrate her life and use this opportunity to tell others about Christ and what He meant to her. That's what she would have wanted. I didn't know her personally at all, and I know that about her. She loved Him with all of her heart and she served him tirelessly her whole life. She was a role model to women and girls all over our church. I will always remember Vanessa and her beautiful smile and her infectious joy. My prayers go out to her husband and family.
