Meme had to leave today. Katherine and I are heartbroken! I know we'll be fine, but it sure is a whole lot easier with Meme here cooking dinner, doing laundry, spoiling Katherine and generally offering a WHOLE LOT of motherly support! I know Meme has loads of responsibility at home and I'm so thrilled and grateful that she dropped everything and came early when I got re-admitted to the hospital, but I think it'd be great if she'd just move in, you know?!?!
My sister is coming tomorrow. The reinforcements are coming!! Katherine hasn't met her Aunt Isa yet, so she's totally looking forward to that. Plus, you know, David LOVES his Aunt Isa.
As for the Davidism for today - David alternates between chocolate milk and white milk with his meals. It started because we told him he couldn't always have chocolate milk, so he decided to "make a pattern" and switch back and forth. Well, we're out of milk, so he had juice with breakfast and lunch today. At dinner, we were going to pick something up and David said that the juice counted as white milk, so to keep up the pattern, he'd have to have chocolate for dinner. So, just so everyone is clear, juice = white milk.
Sorry to make a whole post without any pictures, but we mostly just rested today. I'm not sure I even picked my camera up today! I'll do better tomorrow.
