A Good Day

Today was a great day! Katherine and I were home all day, my blood pressure stayed in check and I managed to take all the medications at the right time! David had a great day at school - his Meme went with him this morning and read a book to the class and also watched them rehearse their play. That's a big deal for David - his Meme being at school with him for a couple of hours.

I forgot to mention the David-ism from last night! We were at the dinner table and all of the sudden, he started reciting the play they're doing next Friday. Of course, he knows his lines - remember there are 41 syllables?!? But last night, he was reciting the WHOLE play! He knew everyone's part and which of his classmates said which lines. Then he sang the songs too! What a cutie patootie!

My co-worker Danna came by this afternoon to drop off presents from the shower that was scheduled for the day after Katherine was born. Wow!! I don't think we'll have to buy a single outfit for her until she's 3!! Seriously, it was a ton of stuff, all of it I really needed, so I'm thrilled to have it all. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
