Yesterday (Monday) was so busy!! Katherine got her RSV shot first thing in the morning. She was NOT happy. My girl, she's not one for the shots. They did tell me this shot is a bit painful, but she really let me have it! After that, we visited Daddy at his office. I think he had a good time showing off the girl.
John and I went to lunch - that was a fun little "date" in the middle of the week!
After Katherine and I got home, she ate, then we headed out again to my doctor's appointment. It was just a blood pressure check with my family doctor. She said I'm not quite ready to go off any more of the blood pressure medications, but that I should be in the next 2-4 weeks.
THEN, we went to the grocery store, then to pick up big brother David.
I think I should get a prize for most errands in one day by someone on maternity leave with a one-month-old!
I also took pictures of her with a couple of stuffed animals. It's my "plan" to take her picture every month for the first year with the same stuffed animals to track her growth - you know, good for scrapbooking. We'll see if I actually remember to take the picture every month!! Anyway, here are a couple of pictures from her one-month birthday.
We put her in the swing for the first time Monday. I think she likes it! She feel asleep pretty quick and was very relaxed!
Today (Tuesday) is the day I'm repeating my MRI to be sure my "big head syndrome" is gone. My neurologist expects the swelling in my brain to be gone, but he just wants to confirm that everything is okay. He's also ordered an MRI on my spine to be sure everything is okay with my tailbone. So, that's TWO HOURS (!!!) in that MRI machine this afternoon. Say a little prayer for me around 4:00 if you think about it.

My mom tried to keep me updated on everything you had going on - I am so sorry! I can relate to what you were going though - it is so hard not being able to be there 100% for you little one. I am so happy to hear that you are doing better.
You have a BEAUTIFUL little girl! She is so adorable - and I love all the pink and the bows!! Too cute!!

Said a prayer for you yesterday - let us know how it went. I've heard that Dairy Queen dipped cones are a wonderful treatment for the "Big Head Syndrome" so I just know you've been cured! : )
