The second appointment was with my neurologist. He watched me sit up, walk around, did some of those fascinating neuro tests, and determined that he doesn't believe there is anything really wrong in my spine. He said my tailbone is probably inflamed. However, anti-inflammatory medication tends to increase blood pressure, so I can't take that. He told me to take vicodin for the pain instead of OTC ibuprofen. How twisted does that sound?!?! I thought that was humorous.
The third appointment was with Katherine's pediatrician. She's not only back to her birth weight at her 2 week birthday, she's OVER it!! That's my girl! She weighed 7 pounds when she was born, and weighed 7 pounds 4.2 ounces today! GO GIRL! He looked her over and said she looks great. We talked about how she eats and he said she might have some mild reflux, but that they classified David's as severe. She will sometimes have what he calls "wet burps", but she doesn't spit up and certainly nothing like David did. He suggested a soy formula might help, so he gave us a sample and we'll try it.
So, on with the pictures, right?!
Here's the sweet girl with the sweet bow:

Thanks for sharing the overall good Dr. news. We will continue to pray for you guys.
Katherine is so pretty. Also, she looks so much like David in that last photo. So sweet.

She does look like David in that last photo. I'm glad to hear she's doing so well. I love seeing her little feet.
I love the bow in Katherine's hair. You're so good to introduce bows NOW. I waited until Lily was older and that was a mistake. She'll tolerate them now, but not for long. Good thing you're raising Katherine RIGHT! ;-)
