What do we do with him?!

I have a video of this that I can share later, but I'm having, ummm, technical difficulties, that's what we'll call them, with downloading video.  See, my wonderful, amazing, fabulous Mac came with something called iMovie.  It seems pretty cool, but the first time you open it, it has to go look through your whole hard drive to find Every. Single. Video you have.  Then it makes a thumbnail for it and imports it in to whatever it's importing it in to.  That takes some time when you have 100 million videos of your baby boy doing everything from cooing to math problems.

So, you see my dilemma.

It's been working for about 20 minutes, and it says it has an hour to go.  Then I can hook up the video camera.  Then I can (hopefully) figure out how to download from this thing.  Then I can edit it.  Then I can figure out how to get it into a blog.  Think it's time for me to call the Geeks?  Yeah, me too.  I also got a video of the outdoor Christmas lights, but again with the technical difficulties.

Anyway, my boys were watching football.  David says he loves to watch, but really he just loves to talk the whole time while everyone else is trying to watch.  We found that out the hard way over Thanksgiving.

So they were watching.  The score was 41-7 (it was the Vikings vs. the Giants).  John asked David, "How many points are the Giants losing by?"  David spent some time counting like crazy on his fingers.  John's thinking - no way he's going to be able to keep up with how many times he's counting to 10.  Then a second later, "34 Daddy!!"

Yes, my boy, he loves himself some pigskin.

Also, as an FYI on John.  He wasn't feeling well in OKC over the holiday, but went to work today.  He was home by mid-morning - out of energy and feeling totally sick again.  He went to the doctor and he's wheezing again (like he did with pneumonia), but she thinks we can get rid of it with some strong antibiotics, breathing treatments, steroids and stomach medicine.  Poor guy - he's really a trooper, but he's feeling terrible!

Videos.  They are coming.  I promise.  How exactly can I promise that?!?  Because I'm stubborn, that's why.
