Today was such a great day. People were so wonderful all day - many congratulations and best wishes. I just feel like I need to get to work! I started looking at baby bedding - so many choices! I bookmarked several, but I'm just getting started. John said he just wants to see what I pick out before I buy it just to be sure he likes it, but he doesn't want to be part of the looking. Personally, I can't really blame him!
I also bookmarked the top 100 names of 2006. We'll start going through names soon and narrowing down our choices. Since David didn't have a name until he was several hours old, I'm determined not to let that happen again. His original shot records actually say "Baby Boy Ferguson"!
We also went to visit John's boss and his wife tonight. They just had an adorable baby boy on Tuesday. I got to hold him and he is SUCH a cutie! He looked absolutely perfect. I held him for quite a while and he just fell right to sleep. So precious! I love how babies make very small facial expressions while they sleep. He would pucker, smile, have an open mouth grin, wrinkle his chin...and that was all right after he fell asleep. It's so fun to watch a newborn sleep - especially when you know you aren't going to be the one waking up with him in 3 hours!!
Okay, off to bed - preggo can't stay up very late these days!!
