Adorable Boy!!

I have to tell y'all what my boy said tonight. We were watching "Deal or No Deal". It's David's favorite show. You know...because of...all...the...numbers. What could be more exciting than all those numbers?!?! Anyway, something was said about California and David said, "That's 3 states away!" Can you imagine? He has a US puzzle but I didn't realize he'd memorized at least how part of it looks! Then, we asked him how many states there are. Now, that's a question where the answer is...a...number! He loves those! So, he started guessing. Clearly, this is not something they've gone through at school. So we told them there are 50 when he started to go get his puzzle to count them. Then he proceeded to count *backward* from 50 to 1!! Is that odd?

On Sunday, we were playing a game where he and John were tossing one of those big bead necklaces to each other...I got these cute pics.

Closing his eyes so Daddy can toss the necklace over his head.
Giggling like crazy when Daddy made it around his neck.
Then just an adorable grin.

He's so precious.

Baby Girl is doing good today - she's quite the mover and shaker sometimes. I'm starting to get used to her movements which are quite different than David was. I haven't been able to tell that she's gotten the hiccups yet, which David used to get about a million times a day, so that's nice! My tummy is getting bigger and bigger. Yesterday it was even itching, so I'll have to get another picture soon.

Since I haven't had a baby in over 4 years...y'all let me in on any recent wonderful baby items you can't live without! I'm out of touch!

Also - still looking at baby nursery stuff. If you love anything and think it's worth mentioning, let me know. I'm overwhelmed by all the choices!! I've narrowed it down to about 4 or 5, but I'm going to do some more looking around at actual stores (vs. the Internet) sometime this weekend.

That boy is a math mensa, I tell you.

Umm, I'm picturing baby girl in a lavender nursery. Oh, and my favorite baby item was the Jeep stroller that has speakers and you can blast your iPod from it.

I'm no help to you on baby items, that's for sure!

I gotta tell you though, I know you remember how strange I was as a kid... I was allllllll about the number games in my brain. So David is definitely related to me. I did get over it eventually, but it was probably high school-ish.

Can't wait to make your baby girl afghan, so lemme know what you decide!
