Sorry to be out of chronological order...I drafted this post on Sunday, but never published it.
Sunday - August 4
This morning, we got up around 9AM, still not quite used to the time change, I was up in the middle of the night from about 1:30 until after 4. Not fun, but understandable. Hopefully tonight will be better. I only allowed myself about a 20 minute rest today, so I'm very sleepy and that should serve me well overnight tonight!
This morning, after got up and moving, we decided to go to Freising to look around and make sure I know where I need to be at 8AM tomorrow morning. What a beautiful little town it is!
I don't really know what you're looking at in these pictures, so I'll just let you look at your leisure.
All of the previous pictures were taken in the middle of the town. It's a Sunday, so there were not very many people out and around. Once again, it was pretty hot early this afternoon!
We drove around Freising, found where I need to meet the relocation company in the morning and also my office. All in all, it was a very productive trip!
When we got back to the hotel, we prepared for a visit from the relocation company. The owner was planning to come over at 5:00PM. She was right on time and let me know that I don't need to meet them until 9:30 in the morning instead of 8:00AM. I'll take that semi-small little favor! Anyway, I do need to meet them at 9:30, so the family is probably going to take me and drop me off since he really doesn't want to go all day without a car.
After we met with the relocation consultant, we decided to head to a nearby beer garden for dinner. The hotel person told us it would be about a 15 minute walk, but I don't think it took that long...maybe 10?
Anyway, I saw this street sign and it reminded me of home and my family!
And here is my yummy beer with my adorable posing little girl in the background. It was slightly warmer than we would have liked in the evening, but it was certainly pleasant enough to eat outdoors.
