Easter

For the record, I loaded these pictures to the blog over a week ago, I just haven't taken the time to actually type something up about them. 

Before we talk about Easter, I just had to share this cutie pie picture of the girl and her books.  She looks so studious, no?

The kids on Easter morning.  You would think it's Christmas by the looks on their faces!!  They were so excited to see what the Easter bunny brought for them.

David tolerated a picture or two.  He's getting to the "no kisses from mommy" phase and I am NOT happy about it!!

She immediately dug into the chocolate that she found in her basket.  She wasn't really interested in the hidden eggs.  I can't blame her really...why look for them when there's chocolate sitting right here in front of me?!

He's searching under the couch for an egg.  We told him that the Easter bunny hid them extra hard for him this year because he was caught complaining about how easy they were to find last year.

There's one right in front of her on the marble run trail.  She does see it, but it takes her a while.

She's quite proud of the ones that she has been able to find.

She decided to dump her eggs out so she could make room to go fill up her basket again.

The Easter bunny brought them both kites, and it was an especially windy day, so that afternoon, we went out to fly them.

In this picture, you can see the kite way up in the air.  Katherine has the string.

Okay, so that was quite a few flying kite pictures, but come on, they're cute!!!
