So, ummm, it's been a while. Again. I'm constantly reminded of just how fast time is flying by with these kids. It seems like yesterday when David was learning to walk and eat. Now Katherine is in this baby stage and David is the amazing big brother. Wow.
Just to be sure we don't have any picture gaps, I am going backward with some photos. This was taken in late January after her birthday. Can you even believe she's ONE??!?!?
(Thanks for the outfit Aunt Isa!)We had a few days of beautiful weather. I just LOVE North Texas winters. David and Katherine were hanging out on the slide. I'm not sure that either of them are having fun with I took this picture. I'm sure it was more of indulging Mommy so we can go back to playing.
Katherine loves balls. She's quite a dramatic girly girl, but she just might have some mad basketball skilz! We'll continue to monitor her progress.

I'm going to miss it when Katherine doesn't do this anymore. Those outstretched arms are so wonderful!!!
We gave spaghetti a try in February. She got WAY more on her face than she got in her mouth, but it made for a fun mess. 
Did I mention she's a bit girly? I swear she prances when I put her in a dress, but John says I'm imagining the whole thing. Whatever. She does. She LOVES the attention that comes with getting all cutsie-ed up and looking adorable.
Unless she's too busy playing, and then you really should just leave her alone and PUT THE CAMERA DOWN ALREADY MOMMY!!!
Again with the beautiful winter weather in North Texas. I just love it. This is a recent favorite picture of Katherine. She does that with her bottom lip all the time.

Katherine has inherited David's Tigger chair. I'm not so sure David's happy about this, but Katherine LOVES that chair. She is so proud of herself when she sits down in it. She really loves chairs in general. They tell us that at day-care that she plays all the time with the table and chairs they have in her room.
Shout out to Leah & Monica's birthday presents!!! She loves them!!
So, that North Texas winter can turn on you. David's soccer games can be HOT or COLD...all in the same season. At least Katherine gets a chance to wear her adorable teddy bear coat.

A couple of weekends ago, we ended up with SEVEN kids in our yard. It was so fun - two neighbors' kids were over and they all had a great time.
After a little while, the bigger ones (and Katherine) all went inside for a nail-biter of a Mario Kart Wii game.
This is our neighbor's daughter and David's BFF. They are so adorable together and they are great to one another. I couldn't ask for a more wonderful person for David to live next door to. I'm comforted by the fact that the two of them have each other!!!
Speaking of digging up old pictures. These are the same adorable kiddos about 5 years ago!!!
For another hot February day, Katherine got to wear another adorable hand-me-down that I didn't think she'd get to wear. It's a 12 month summer outfit...she's already in 18-24 month clothes!!
So this is FINALLY current. Tonight we played outside for a while when we got home. Katherine watched as David shot a couple of baskets, then went to get the smaller basketball and started playing herself!! We just might have a prodigy!

Great pictures. Girlie outfits are so fun. Like Monica mentioned with Audrey, Lily totally acts different when "gussied" up. I love the picture of David helping Katherine make a basket. So sweet! Yeah- where are the kitchen pics? :-)
