So, where were we?
Oh yeah...just non-stop chatter about nothing, right?
So, here's a very David picture. You like the funny angle? Very artsy, no?
Katherine's favorite toys these days are her keys, her cell phone and her remote.
Or her Daddy's remote. Either way.
OOOOOOOHHHHH!!! You want to see HALLOWEEN pictures?!?!
OOOOOOOHHHHH!!! You want to see HALLOWEEN pictures?!?!Yeah, we got gobs of those here at the Ferguson Four headquarters.
For this picture, we were going for the original movie poster look. John had it in his head...if those kids would just cooperate!
We got close...as close as you can get with a 9-month-old who can't really pull off the sultry half sitting, half leaning, chiseled thigh muscle look.
But she's still pretty stinking cute as Princess Leia, right?
We got close...as close as you can get with a 9-month-old who can't really pull off the sultry half sitting, half leaning, chiseled thigh muscle look. She got lots of compliments on her attire and of course, the two of them together were a Star Wars geek's dream, so John had a blast too!
And the Jedi Knight himself...complete with a light saber (or a life saver, depending on who you're talking to).
And also the Jedi Knight in a "Jedi pose." I'm gonna have to take John's word on this one. I have no idea what the folded hands are supposed to mean.
We went to the neighborhood party with our next-door-neighbors. Aren't they adorable?!?!
Get it? They're all from Toy Story! Katherine is TOTALLY going to be using that costume in 5 years. Ummm, I guess I should ask before I just put that out there like that.
The kids all had a great time. Some interesting facts for the night:
1. Katherine was NOT happy in the stroller. We left the neighborhood party about 7 and she and I headed home. As soon as I picked her up, she was fine, so we headed back out. She did great as long as Mommy held her!
2. People really thought the two of them were cute together. Although I guess they could have just been saying that...NAH....
3. David got WAY more candy than any of us need in this house.
4. David sprinted from house to house. I'm not sure where all this energy came from. Must have been some amazing hot dogs they were serving at the party!
5. When Katherine went to bed, John & David got home & played the Wii. Mommy went across the street to hand out our remaining candy with other neighbors who were hanging out in their front yard.
6. There was a lot of this hanging out in the front yard stuff in our neighborhood.
Here's a video from Saturday night. It's David singing "If You're Happy and You Know It" to Katherine. I'll spare you the WHOLE song, so it's cut up to show the parts where she's being especially adorable. Then there's the end when David tells you what game is on and who's going to win. Maybe I should take this kid to Vegas!
More to come - I have even MORE pictures from the weekend and a WHOLE video still to post! I know, I know, you must all be breathless with anticipation.

Very cute and original costumes. They look great together. I'll have to take John's word about all that stuff too because I've never even seen the movie. GASP! I KNOW!!! I thought about you when I saw Tech was winning!
Great pictures! David and Katherine are sooo cute. The light saber-in-air picture is Star Wars movie posterish, too. Very nice! The neighbors theme is too funny. Nice photo angles!
That is the cutest little Halloween couple I have seen. A...nd I love the video of the song! David is having so much fun and they are both so smiley and entertained. Precious!
Lubbock is Texas Tech CRAZY right now. I hope you and Katy Beth watch this week's game--cross your fingers for another win!
