A Whole Weekend Worth of Pictures!

As I mentioned, we were in Lubbock this weekend visiting family and "helping" John's sister and her family move. I use the quotes because I think we probably hurt more than we helped! They had to provide beds for our children and generally put up with an extra 4 people in their house all weekend while they tried to unpack and organize!

Anyway, I got a few fun pictures I thought I'd share!

This is our beautiful girl after a night of much non-rest. Anyone who knows us knows that we are fundamentally against children sleeping in our bed. Well, our little princess just could not sleep.  She was in a borrowed pack-n-play and the room wasn't hers.  Anyway, by 3am the first night, I'd put her in the bed with us and she did better.  I think she got her mommy's Lubbock allergies.  So, these pictures were taken while she was laying in our bed.  Ouch.

This is my nephew Josh pitching at a baseball game on Saturday.  I've heard Amie say they live at the ballpark, but I had NO idea.  We were there for one day of games, and Lauren didn't even have one, but Josh & Chris played at the same time.  I don't have any pictures of Chris because the camera was in Katherine's stroller which stayed at Josh's game.  Whew - it was a workout!  Anyway, Josh pitched a great game and I got to use the fun zoom and manual settings on my camera.  I'm no expert, but I think they turned out pretty well!
John took this picture, but you can see the ball he just hit!
David actually paid attention to quite a bit of the game.  This might be a sport he can really get in to!
This would be his favorite sport - his DS.  He did share with his cousins well, but he likes to watch other people play just as much as he likes to play.  Aren't they adorable?!?!
And here's Meme and her 2 granddaughters.  Couldn't you just eat them up?!?!  Oh, the fun these girls have in store for them!!!
Katherine really started to enjoy the toy bar on her bouncy seat this weekend.

Daddy and the kids.  This picture reminds me of just how incredibly blessed I am.  I couldn't ask for any more - I have 2 healthy amazing kids, a wonderful husband and a God who fills my cup to overflowing every day.  Wow!
Katherine also decided she'd hang out for a while in her exersaucer.

She is quite the princess these days.  She likes to be held and walked and bounced or some combination pretty much every minute of the evening.  She does have a fussy time from about 7:00 until she goes to bed.  It's not unbearable, but it's sometimes a challenge.  Knowing she's my last baby, I'm doing everything I can to enjoy each and every moment because I know how fast this stage is over!!
