Today's the Day!!

So I finally had John take a picture of me last night. It was after a long day, so the make-up isn't great, but you get the idea of the belly. Of course, David had to be in the picture too - he's so excited to find out today if he's going to have a little brother or a little sister!! I'll post tonight with results of the sonogram today. Also, just because I think it's funny here's a picture of my ankle this morning. Yes, it generally looks like a normal ankle, although I do normally have some pretty seriously bony ankles, this still isn't all that bad. Just wait - I'm wearing socks today, and I'll take a picture tonight of the same ankle. It's gross!!

So overall I'm feeling well these days. No more sicky-ness which is key to my happiness! I'm getting large fast, and my SIL tells me it's the genes. That all our babies are just big and it makes us moms big - even when "us moms" aren't all that big to begin with. She's so nice to me. John's mom is tiny and John & his sister were both really big babies, so I guess I can't complain too much. My sister didn't have small babies either, so I get it from both sides apparently!

David is doing great - here's a cute story from him last night. I went to a homeowners meeting on our block and when I got home, David and I sat on the couch together for a couple of minutes before he had to go to bed. I told him that when we pick him up from school tomorrow (today) that we’d be able to tell him if he’s going to have a little brother or sister. He said, “Mommy, which is it?” I said, “We don’t know yet, we’ll find out tomorrow.” He said, “What do you think it is Mommy?” I said, “I don’t know, what do you think it is?” He said, “Mommy, I already told you! It’s a girl. I’m going to have a little sister.” Then he had to go to bed and he made a cone around his mouth like he was going to yell and pointed toward my belly and said, “Night, night little sister!!” So stinking cute.

He does that cone thing around his mouth to talk to the baby all the time. So adorable. I can't wait to see how he does with a little one around.

More tonight!!

That's a cute picture and a sweet
story about David. A new baby is a wonderful thing in itself but its
also wonderful to see your little boy become a brother!

That boy is, as you say, such a cutie patootie! I miss him when I'm away. He grows too much while I'm gone!

Can't wait to meet the new little one you're growing me! You just called me with the news, but I won't spoil it since you haven't posted it yet. =)
