Oh yes, it has begun

Last night (Tuesday), John decided to take David and a friend of his to the mall to play Lunar Golf. David loves it and having a friend along makes it even more fun! The boys did great and they had a great time. Once they were playing and John had them "under control" I skipped out to go across the hallway to Children's Place. On the way to golf, I'd noticed this as I walked through the store:

Is this not the CUTEST?!?!?!
I was able to find two outfits on the sale racks - 2 skirts and 2 shirts - for $2.99 each!! That was awesome! I love great deals of course - kids need so many clothes and I don't even know what to do with a girl and all those adorable clothes choices out there.
So I resisted the (strong) urge to buy the skirt above - it was $14.50, not on sale, and I just couldn't do it - I mean, how could I when there were racks and racks of clothes for $2.99 each? So, I didn't buy it.
Then, today...I thought about that skirt?!?!?! Are you kidding me?!?!?! Why am I thinking about a silly little skirt a day later? The better question - if I'm still thinking about it, then why didn't I just buy it?!?!
So, my conclusion?
Yes, it has started. The girly clothes have taken their initial grip on my attention. I'm pretty sure it just goes downhill from here.

Oh trust me! The girly clothes are now an obsession of mine! I actually bought a dress for little Maddie that was $30!!!!! But, it was SO CUTE! And then I beat myself up days later for spending so much on an outfit she will likely grow out of in a month! I still can't believe I didn't just take it back! I'm tellin' ya - It's hopeless!

How did that little girl already wrap you around her 3mm finger?

Pumpkin patch pics are the bomb.

And the math stories are awesome.

Audrey has several outfits that were just worn for a picture! It IS hard to resist the cute clothes. I eventually started dressing her up anytime I knew we'd see a friend or family member instead of putting her in the practical onsie all the time. Special occasions just don't come along enough to use all the cute stuff. Sometimes I just have to force myself to not even look!

Oh, just go buy the skirt. You know it will haunt your dreams if you don't.

That's not an endorsement for EVERY cute girly thing you see... but I really love this one, and you haven't stopped talking or thinking about it, days later!
